This is a great elective course for students interested in any area of business or seeking a career in law. Students will be using computers to research laws, court cases, and to complete legal briefs. Curriculum includes civil and criminal law, the US court system, contract law, property law, marriage, divorce, and estate law. The class will offer opportunities to visit the Bannock County Courthouse to observe court proceedings and to learn about careers in law. A mock trial will be conducted as part of the class curriculum. State code 120540
